This policy applies to johannes-hubrich.com. It complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What this site does
This is a static portfolio website. There is no login, no registration, no comment system, and no payment processing. The site consists of a few HTML pages plus two embedded video galleries served via iframe from cineflow.ch (own infrastructure, EU/CH data center).
3. Data processed
Server logs
The hosting server (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) writes standard access logs for each request: IP address, timestamp, user-agent, referer, and requested path. These logs are retained for up to 14 days and used solely for security, debugging, and abuse prevention. They are not aggregated, analyzed, or shared.
Embedded video galleries
The gallery sections (Cinema & TV Series, Commercials) are loaded as iframes from cineflow.ch, which is operated by the same person and subject to the cineflow privacy policy. When you click a tile to play a video, the cineflow share endpoint records the same kind of access entry (file, approximate country/city derived offline from your IP via GeoLite2, hashed user-agent for unique-viewer estimation). The IP address itself is never stored and never sent to a third party. See cineflow privacy for the full description.
Email contact
If you write to post@johannes-hubrich.com, your message is stored on the IONOS mail servers (EU). It is read solely for replying and is retained until the conversation has clearly ended.
4. What this site does NOT do
- No analytics (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, etc.)
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies
- No third-party fonts loaded from Google or any CDN (Rockwell is self-hosted)
- No social-media pixels or share buttons that ping Meta, X, LinkedIn, etc.
- No use of your data, content, or contact details for AI or machine-learning training
5. Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The embedded cineflow iframe may set short-lived session cookies on the cineflow.ch domain when you press play. No consent banner is shown because no consent is required for this minimal essential setup.
6. Where data is stored
Server logs and the embedded gallery infrastructure are hosted in the European Union (Germany). Email is hosted at IONOS in Germany. No data leaves the European Economic Area or Switzerland.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Swiss FADP you have the right to:
- Access any personal data held about you
- Rectify incorrect data
- Erase your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability where applicable
- Withdraw any consent at any time
Exercise any right by emailing post@johannes-hubrich.com. Response within 30 days.
Complaints can be lodged with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, or your national Data Protection Authority in the EU.
8. Security
All traffic is served over TLS 1.3. The server uses restricted SSH access and automatic security updates.
